    AB1263 Notice and Acknowledgement Document

I went to an LGS and bought some items. Admittedly, it's been a while; I have not bought much firearms-wise/firearms-related over the past couple years in an LGS, nothing in 2026.

LGS employee made a copy of my driver's license and had me fill out and sign a paper... a two-sided document with my identifying information and a bunch of "initials here please" plus a signature which was some kind of AB1263 Notice and Acknowledgement. Ridiculous. Utterly stupid.

If the YouTube lawyers are correct that SCOTUS is poised to find AR bans unconstitutional, regular people unfortunate enough to live in blue sheeetholes should celebrate with a purchasing spree...

"Other California “compliant” products designed to assist in the breaking apart of a firearm’s action to release a fixed magazine also likely fall under this category." Boy, they keep moving the goalposts! I was under the impression that disassembly (separation of upper from lower) for magazine removal was a California legal means of modification?

There’s no such thing as California legal any more. Only items they haven’t gotten around to banning yet.

Kalifornistan will NEVER stop, even with a favorable SCOTUS ruling.

They will either (or both) blatantly ignore SCOTUS and/or pass an insane amount of new laws specifically designed for "AWs". Like 6 month or longer waiting periods, closed-gap registration of course with annual re-registration (never legally being able to pass them down to your family), specific "AW" 16 hour classes, shooting proficiency, safety tests, psych evaluations, finger prints, multiple forms of ID, CLEO signoffs, additional exorbitant excise taxes, "AW" rosters, expanded point A to point B travel restrictions (like the "AW" must be locked and disassembled while traveling) on each "AW" submitted...etc.

These are all just guesses of course, but knowing that commie state, I will not put anything past them, because it's all been tried or done so before.

And no, I'm not giving them ideas. They likely have more. They're already gearing up for it.

They also know any litigation attempts to try to stop it will take YEARS, if ever, to work it's way through the slow turning wheels of the courts, with the 9th on their side, all the while all the law(s) remain in place.

My advice? GTFO if you can.
        Kalifornia is GONE.
