7 Months and counting waiting for Front Sight Program Gun

I've searched the forums to see if anyone else has mentioned being in the same boat, but found nothing. This was the membership sale back in October 2011! Has anyone who participated in that received their gun yet? I emailing FS in January and was told 16 to 18 weeks. I've emailed several times over the past two weeks for an update but have yet to get a reply.

My kid waited for months for his Ruger LCR to ship. He switched to the XD and got it in days. Added about $60 but at least he got it. Good luck.

My friend wanted a particular configuration of the XD (.40, sub) and waited about 10 months. He finally spoke to Blake and it was explained to him that the one he wanted was really hard to get. He changed his order and got his asap... now in DROS.

Thanks all for the info. I called the number and spoke to Danielle since Blake was in a meeting. The new timeline is 4 to 6 more weeks. Manufacturer's backlog. That's one heck of a backlog. I was going to cancel the whole transaction, but will stick it out. I should try hocking those extra Diamond memberships I bought now, just in case the whole thing is a house of smoke and mirrors. I loved the training, but giving someone my money and not seeing the goods delivered makes me think I made a mistake.

I have hear so many bad things about FS and it's management. Makes me wonder why they are still in business.
