Good day at the range today

Come to think of it I have never had a bad day at the range but today was very good indeed.

I shot a five shot one hole group with my Stag 6L.

I whacked the targets at 380 and 399 yards (but time ran out before I could get the little one at 399).

And I tried out my new Crimson trace laser sight on my S&W M&P .40. Works real good even in bright sunlight at short range. Much more accurate than the iron sights.

oh man, read about that, sucks...sorry to see that happen
thats always my biggest fear when I go to the regular range and I only go so I can shoot with my son, you just never know...IMHO, if a guy is so dependent on a folding chair just to be able to shoot, not sure if I'd be comfortable around him...thats one of the more random accidents i've ever heard about

5 shot group at 50 yards. Not great but not bad for an old man with bad eyes.

The other thing I really enjoyed was how friendly the people at the range were. I especially enjoyed the demure, petite, grey haired woman with a long skirt on who sat at the bench next to me and whipped out a .357 magnum and started blasting away. Her husband said he had only shot a .22 until he met her!
