    My newly built AR, $885

It took a long time waiting for all of the pieces to come in. I waited 2 months for the lower to come in.

I figured I'd save a couple hundred dollars by building it myself.
Here is a list of everything on it.

Stag flattop upper w/ bolt carrier group and quad rail $400
aero precision lower including DROS $150
    UAG tactical collapsible stock $40
UTG low profile detachable front sight $20
    tactical vertical short grip $15
magpul rear flip up sight $55
primary arms 1x30mm red dot w/ cantilever high mount $110
    kwirk handguards $18
    trigger assembly ect $75

    TOTAL PRICE .. about $885

I see stag ARs going for close to $1000 for just a bare minimum, stock AR, without a quad rail or flattop.

The only catch to building it yourself is obviously time, and a lot of us want gun NOW! and I don't blame ya

    Here's mine

So the upper was new? $400 is a great price. Nice find, and nice build.
Sent from free America otherwise known as Utah.

Thanks! I had heard of some uppers at local gun shows for 420.. I didn't see any for that price, except for one random table where they had a 16" for 400. I guess sometimes you get lucky, just have to search around.
