So who is going to SHOT 2008?!

I'll be there first day of the convention to start my birthday celebration...

I went three years ago and have been dying to go back but "stuff" always happened...

Anyone else? Are there any Calguns buttons to wear?

I am going. Not sure which day or days yet but I will be there. You can't miss me, I am extremely handsome and my piercing gaze has been known to burn holes in exposed flesh. Sexy.

I'll be there with another member for Saturday. On Friday night I'll be in the front row to see KA. It's gonna be an awesome 3 day. KA, than SHOT than Super Bowl (at home of course).

I'll be sporting this somewhere on my shirt or on the badge holder:

Sorry... Did not see it on the very first page so thought I'd ask.

probably the cirque de soleil (sp?) thingy... that was the only thing i could come up with... well my first guess was "knights armament" but i didn't figure they'd have "front seat tickets" to check out their booth...

Any body have experience with how strict they are about taking pictures inside the show?

Yup it's the Cirque Du Soleil thingy. I saw a few of their original shows and they were cool but ho-hum as far as entertainment. Than I caught La Reve (a Cirque du Solei-esque show) at Winn a few months back and was just amazed. KA should be an experience, any show with "postindustrial apocalypse", "greeted with violence" and "wheel of death" is going to be interesting. If you have never seen a show like these shows you are missing out big time. Calling them a circus act or a musical is like saying a 16" Para FAL shoots like a 22lr. I was blown away at what I saw and I expect to be blown away this time. If your already there I suggest going as these shows start late in the evening. It ain't cheap though $100-$200 per ticket. Oh and let's not forget Monty Python's Spamalot, I'll probbaly catch it next time.

Pictures, Video, Holographic recorder, it's all good. I mean how else are we going to keep records of scandily clad women holding guns? Booths to hit: Magpul. FN, LMT, Colt, Kel-tec, Surefire, Pentagon.
