.. I would put my son against 95% of all gun owners when it comes to discipline, safety, and respect for his weapon ... And if the need ever arose my son would be an asset not a liability in the face of a threat. He will follow in my ,my father, and my grandfathers footsteps and be a soldier and after that he will always be a citizen soldier...

everyone has different taste and opinion and likes so they do what they like even if its useless sometime it may not better the rifle in performance but it may look nice like me i have full length quad rail on my 20" barrel ar. It doesnt help with performance but i like the looks of it.
