My sons .22 rifle has some issues that I just can't figure out. Any good gunsmith around Downey/Whittier area with short turnaround? I called ammo bros but the guy who answered the phone said 3 to 4 weeks. Pls help. Thanks.

I recommend Jan. He installed an SRT and a short trigger on my P226, as well as polish a few contact points to lighten the trigger pull. He did a great job and his price is very reasonable.

For Future reference, we have a Gunsmithing Forum. Somebody over there might be able to help you.Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.
Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

Any good gunsmith will have a waitlist. I'd be concerned if your job was the only thing they had going...Kendog4570 is doing some barrel work on an AR for me right now, and I expect at least a couple more weeks. But at least I know it will be done right.
He barreled the action of the rifle that won the Sac silhouette match last Saturday.
