    Someone at Ca DOJ made a mistake

    They processed and approved my COE renewal in three days. Well really one day, I sent it in Saturday morning, got the email Tuesday night.

    Yep I did mine last month same thing, couldn’t believe it was so fast.

      They must have handed the COE renewals to the new guy but didn't tell him he's supposed to let them sit on his desk for 2-3 months before working on them.

      I just checked and my COE expires in 61 days.
      I guess I will have to check back later this week because I am not yet within 60 days.

        I did mine a few months ago and it took a couple of week, a bit faster than the last time. Good news if its now only days

          Someone missed the memo: everything 2a needs to be dragged out for many months and be overly complicated so one get frustrated

            They kicked mine back in two days, illegally demanding that I send them my FFL03. I sent them a picture of my card last year for renewal, even though it's totally illegal of them to demand it so you'd think they'd keep it on file.
            They didn't demand your FFL03?

              No, they didn't. I've been expecting them to, but so far no. I'm thinking it might be because I am also an FSC instructor, but given the way things work in Sac who the hell knows.

                Mine took 3 days as well.
                I did, however attach my FFL03 as a "court document" to help ensure that it didn't get kicked back like it did last year.

                  I renewed my COE on 1/11 and got notice the morning of 1/15 that my renewal was completed.

                    I did my renewal 2 weeks ago.

                    Uploaded my info and submitted my renewal on Wednesday 09. On Thursday 10 got it kick back due to my DL being expired. Uploaded my updated DL picture on Friday 11. Renewal approved on Monday 12 01:01AM.

                      Applied Jan 9th about 11:30am. Had email at 1am on the 10th. It was approved same day. I was amazed!
