    Military Question

For those that are in the military, or those that know, when you're active military, is the military informed when you purchase a firearm?

Nope, and they will never know unless you live on base and have to register it with PMO

The only thing you have to tell you command about is if you get married or buy a motorcycle, or get arrested or get dui.

Wait, it has to be registered with PMO? The bottom line is, they aren't informed of a firearm purchase, correct?

They are not informed of a DROS.

If you bring it on base it has to be registered in which case means they now know about it.

On that note if you don't have a house on base to store it don't bring it on base because you then have to leave it in the armory which is a terrible place to leave anything personal.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

See if you know a buddy you trust out in town who can store it vice storing it in the Armory, heard too many stories of armorers "playing" with personal weapons.

I'm not even military and can validate this.
"Then there are sheepdogs. The sheepdogs are the bastions of safety. The sheepdog lives solely to protect the flock and confront the wolf. They live for the opportunity to be called to duty to protect the innocent. The sheepdog has fangs and the propensity for violence but hopes that he will not have to resort to it. However, he lives for that day when he will be able to use his warrior skills and mindset to keep the wolf from harming the sheep."
