    New Glock 43X

Had some time to putt around today, so I figured what the heck and used a $100 Bass Pro gift card my In-laws gave me for Christmas to apply it to today's purchase. I had some BP club points too.
Bought a G43X and brought it home. I've mentioned before that I'm more of a SIG guy, but man the G43X is so freakin' conformable, I couldn't pass it up. It will definitely be in the line-up of carry pieces.
Not bad for $401.00 OTD including a box of Federal HST.

I bought a 43X MOS 2 years ago for $1;147 OTD. My CA off-roster must be 3 times better than your TX model, and it can ski and surf the same day!

Look at you with all that freedom 🤨 🤣.
Nothing wrong with adding another Glock 😃. Enjoy.

Holy smokes!! I mean, I get it. They are few and far between behind the iron curtain. Glad you got one though, they're great.

I was looking at the MOS model today, too. It was $485. I decided I didn't really need the extra bulk of a red-dot for carry, so that's why I went with the non MOS....which I might add, the TX model can scrape ice off your windshield and turn on the A/C the same day!

Thanks man, I'm diggin' this one so far.

The no waiting period here is a huge selling point. Just go buy and take it home like anything else. It honestly took a little bit to get used to at first. I found reminding myself a couple of times over the last couple purchases...."oh wait...that's right, I can take home today" lol

Filling out the electronic 4473 takes more time than the BGC (3 minutes tops) and in 20 minutes or so from counter to paying, you're on your way. Going to apply for my LTC soon too, so I can shave off that 3 extra minutes.

My G43X MOS (15+1) is my daily carry now in Free America. Back in kalistan, it was a G19 or a G26.

I am liking the use of optics more everyday with my aging eyes. I feel bad for you that the TX model has to deal with ice in TX. The worst the CA model has to deal with is a stick of wax, to wax up the snow ski's and surf board the same day before using it!

Which 15rnd mags are you using? I was looking at the Shield S15's but it looks like you have to swap out the mag catch for their steel catch, and was reading it seems to tear up the polymer mag slots.

ETA: Also saw the PSA Dagger micro mags that still use the OEM catch, which would be much more appealing to me to still use the original polymer mags without potential damage.

I use the PSA's. They work great. I bought them after I had already bought 5 mags and the metal mag catch from Shield. After trying the PSA mags out, I never bothered even trying the Shield mags.

Awesome, thanks! I'll pick up a couple PSA and see how they run. Appreciate it!

Just got these Hogue beaver tail grip sleeves for both the G42 and G43X. Very happy with them and they feel great, and they're not at all "sticky" like some other rubber sleeves can be.

Nice looking gun(s)! I paid a little extra to get myself a P365XL, think it’s about the perfect carry gun. The only other one I’d even consider is the Glock 43X! I have a LEO buddy who has a 43X that I said if he ever wants to sell it I’d take it. I carried my 26 for 6 years, now my P365XL for a year. I’d really like to 43X though and your thread has me oogling again haha.
