I sent separate emails to 3 of the top sellers of Gunbroker from whom I've purchased regularly over the past 25 years, noting that while I've bought hundreds of items from each during all that time, and regardless of me being one of their top buyers/bidders for each, my account was deactivated and it was my sad duty to report to each of them I would no longer be able to purchase from them on Gunbroker.

I specified in one of the emails that I had just bought a $10,000 firearm from one of them on Gunbroker just a week before my account was deactivated (which is true and could be seen in my purchase history) but apparently that would be my last purchase on Gunbroker.

I eked out what the emails were for the Gunbroker CEO, COO, CFO, head of Marketing, Head of IT, head of sales - and cc'ed all of them on each email.

Within 2 minutes of sending that email - no exaggeration, maybe was even less time than that - I got a call from their head consumer relations rep saying he was re-activating my account. And did. No need to jump through the hoops or provide my 'papers'.

    So I'm good now.

On a related note. Here there's the Texas Gun Trader. I've really never been into using classifieds. Kinda like craigslist to me. I'm sure it's safe, but idk....not really my thing to meet up with random people to buy things.

The best thing though, in Texas, ALL private party sales are C&C.
