I was looking at the monsterman grip, and had the thought: What if it was hinged and could be pivoted and pinned as a pistol grip? You'd drill a pin hole in the buffer tube to lock the grip up, a pin hole on the rear of the lower reciever to act as a pivot, and a modified trigger guard with a pin hole to lock the grip in pistol position. When the grip is locked up, the pin would also go through the buttstock, and it would block the buttstock from collapsing. Then you can return the buttstock to normal function when brought down. Make the pins "lock" with a hex key. In combination with a raddlock-style BB, and a proper muzzle break, you could have both a feature AND featureless rifle that are interchangable with a hex key.
Could something like this be legal? Or am I missing something?
