Not sure I've seen a video quite like this.

Whenever the Mini-14 is mentioned I always remember the A-Team television show. In all the years that it was on TV, the A-Team shot them in full auto and never hit a single person.

Their Mini in the video has a flash hider on it that would not be allowed in CA.

The video reminds me of 'endless' discussions I used to have with a gunsmith 40 years ago. He liked the Mini 14 better than the AR-15; but, acknowledged that the AR was more robust and better suited as a 'military' firearm. However, when asked which he'd rather have, he'd unhesitatingly choose the Mini, noting it as easier to keep running and work on.

Had a mini and sold it 3 years ago.Didnt know they would shoot up in value right after and sold it for 650 with 5 mags,I paid 375 for it in mid 90s for a stainless,Also have 3 ars 2 are a2 very an armalite and colt the other is a 10.5 sbr.The mini was very reliable and a accuracy was decent but fun to shoot. The ars are very accurate and more common which makes them cheaper to purchase IMO.

If i had to pick one between the 2 i would still go Ar platform due to its common use but ca a mini is hard to beat due to the laws there
