    Help identifying magazine

I'm looking at building a replica of the Terminator plasma ENDO rifle from Terminator 2. I assume the original prop builders incorporated a magazine from a common gun into their design. I haven't had much luck identifying it, so I thought I'd throw it out here. For size reference, scaled from the original model, it is 6" long from the center of the mag receiver to the bottom of the mag. I assume its a .308/7.62 but I can't seem to locate a straight one that long.

Here's a pic for visual reference

    AFAIK...
The entire thing was a prop not based off of a real firearm. Everything was custom made (mold/cast).

U might want to look at the 30 round m1a mags. Those suckers are stinking long

not a lot of mags other than pistol mags that are that long and still straight. Case wall straightness will be required. You might be able to take 2x M1 carbine mags and hook em' together.

Good ideas. If they don't exist IRL, I will craft them out of wood or carve them out of foam and recast them in resin. Just looking for a potential shortcut there. For some reason, I thought the FX studio tore apart a few guns and rebuilt them into the ENDO rifle. Hence, my curiousity on where the mag and mag well may have been sourced from.

BTW, this will be a non-functioning prop to sit on my mantle. Thanks for the help.
