    AK owners=Litterbugs!

Every time I shoot on BLM I spend a good 30-60min collecting brass others left behind. Today for example, over half of what I collected was steel 7.62/5.45x39 casings, a good 5-7lbs of it.

Just cuz you guys hate America and shoot those terrorist guns and your mad that you can't reload your spent casings doesn't mean you guys can leave your trash out there!

I know its not you guys here cuz we are all resposible shooters, but I'm just noticing my favorie shooting spot is getting left more and more littered with all types of trash over the past couple months, and its frustrating to see.

I know what you mean. Everytime I venture out to a newly discovered area of BLM land, and I'm curious to know if it's ok to shoot there, all I have to do is look around for some ak casings. Works everytime. Damn terrorists.

There are alot of 7.62/5.45 uppers on the market recently. I'm gonna say it's the AR crowd...

Yeah it's unfortunate that some of people don't take the time to clean up after themselves. A magnetic sweeper from harbor freight is only $35.

At least they blend in with the dirt...some times. Its the bright red shotgun shells that bugs me.

It is annoying but what bugs me the most are the TV's, mattresses, couches, etc. I was out at Hodge Rd a few months back and there were 2 lazy boys sitting there waiting for a tv, along with a mattress.

I don't get the allure of shooting furniture. The bullet holes are hard to see, and the target doesn't react much.

On a side note, I just came from California Metals, the recycling company here in san diego and they said they pay $1.30 per lb. for brass, so I'll be recycling all my .22 brass and any other corroded or damaged brass I come across there. Jus need to find a spot that will accept steel so I can make money off you AK guys being lazy, ha!

well in 5 or so year steel cases rust away and they are easy to pick up with a magnet at least shotshells are way worse but they stick to my magnet too

So rather than keep those metals in the American soil, you want to give them to a recycling company to be sent to China? You America hater, you

Which means you got 5-7 pounds of free brass. If it's not green & furry I'd call that a good day.

I bought one to use at my local range. Works great.

$1.30/lb for yellow brass is low, I got $1.95 recently in Oakland.

I am guilty of this... not on BLM though. I leave behind my steel casings at the sheriffs range, but hey that's what inmates are for right?

I actually like to keep my casings, steel or not just for my obsessive love for anything gun sake.. My AK and SKS just throw them things everywhere, and they are hard to find the grass.

I keep all the brass I shoot from my terrorist evil wood and black rifle.

our only local range that allows steel cases is constantly littered with GIANT surplus 7.62x54R casings since Mosins are so cheap

                              things are annoying
