    In and Out leaves Oakland.

Soon only Mickey D's for the Bros?

" In-N-Out drive-thru off Hegenberger Road in Oakland, Calif., on Monday, Jan. 22, 2024. In-N-Out will close its only restaurant in Oakland because of a wave of car break-ins, property damage, theft and armed robberies targeting customers and employees alike, the company announced. The burger joint in a busy corridor near the Oakland International Airport.. "

Besides all the anti business rules the state has…they did pick about one of the crappiest places they could have for a location. When you get off 880 at 98th/Hegenberger…you never stop until you are at the airport. Even at signals…leave distance to get out if needed…never ever stop.

The libs will blame this closing on Trumps Tariffs.
That's the latest fantasy that they are saying today, about our insurance in CA will be going up because of Trumps Tariffs.

Oakland also lost Dennys; and have lost all 3 of their professional sports franchises

That's not exclusive to Oakland, in the Central Valley customers are sitting ducks while waiting in line for the drive through. Where are you gonna go when someone comes up to your car with a gun and demands your money...it's bumper to bumper with maybe a couple inches of space front and back all day. It's sad to know because it could be any town next. Stay safe...stay vigilant.

It's like what Leo Goetz said in Lethal Weapon. They f*** you in the drive through.

I was flying somewhere with a transfer in Oakland. The in and out had opened a week or two before. I went there for lunch on the layover. A brand new large very nice place with lots of customers. An addition any city would love to have.. In a few short years the incompetent city government and the hood rats drove them out. Sad what the bay area has become. Don't blame in and out, they tried. Blame the predatory animals running the streets and the idiots running the area government.

Yup. Very old news. Calgunners are slipping! LOL!

Also, their HQ is moving from CA to TN due to the business unfriendly state we live in.

Partially true. When Rich Snyder was alive he moved the HQ to Irvine. He had bought a house in Newport because his wife didn't want to move into his bachelor pad. His niece who now owns everything is closing Irvine and bringing that work back to Baldwin Park. They are opening a new HQ for their eastern area in TN.
Rich kept his Covina house as a gathering place for his buddies to watch Monday night football - https://www.google.com/maps/@34.0793...oASAFQAw%3D%3D

It has been like that for a long, long time. Nothing has changed. This is nothing new. I worked across from the stadium on Hegenberger Dr. at a restaurant in the 1980's. The drugs and crime were out of control then. people trying your car door handles at lights, thugs came into the lobby of the restaurant on a Friday night, peak hours and tried to steal the oak benches. We came out of the kitchen with kitchen knives and mallets and scared them away. Luck we did not get shot. It was a cesspool then, and it is now. Had a murder next door to us, in a security building, needed 4 keys to get in. And they had the Raiders back then! I remember moving back to San Diego and rolling my car window down around Oceanside, thinking "wow! I can do this! LOL!

In/out, Safeway, Wallgreens, etc etc....Interesting how the left spin this... "Food Justice" and "Food Insecurity". They get out the signs and start protesting while all ignoring the criminal activities.
