Ammo Storage Question

No real need to worry about it being close to a furnance unless your ammo cans get too hot to pick up.
If you're storing ammo in surplus military cans, it'll take a lot of heat to get the ammo to start popping. At that point, they'll just dent the can from the inside. If you want to store them in a garage, stack them along a wall and use a tarp to cover them from prying eyes.
My stash in the garage is probably only a little smaller than yours.

I am just envious looking at all that ammo!!!!!!!!!!Originally posted by tankermanI think most folks bubba their AR's because they watch too many action movies, play too many video games and don't understand how to socialize properly, so they fantasize about being 'action hero's'. Kind of like little girls playing dress-up.Originally posted by Douglas711Is everybody stocking up on guys now? Just curious some gun prices seem to be getting high.Comment

Now I know why ammo prices go up
sigpicThe essence of Western civilization is the Magna Carta, not the Magna Mac. The fact that non-Westerners may bite into the later has no implications for their accepting the former.

EDIT 2020: To be fair that seems to apply to many Westerners also.Comment
