    The PROBLEM with rental guns....

The problem with rental guns at the range is that you shoot the rental and walk out of the store with a new one!

Rented the standard M&P9 and walked out of the store with a M&P9 Pro series... I sure like the ergonomics of the M&P compared to my Glocks. It shot almost identical to my G19, but I have to say was a tad bit better. Range report to follow in a couple weeks when I get back from the ACC tournament

I hear that!! Every gun I own is because I first rented and shot it! It's great that P2k in El Cajon has a great rental selection.

I should have done that before I bought a particular gun. Would have saved me some time, money and agravation. I guess the rent before you buy if possible is a good idea.

That's how the XD45, and G26 ended up in my safe.

I rented a Kimber, mostly because everyone I know that's into guns tell me it is the Bentley of guns. The one I rented jammed repeatedly. So I guess that saved me 1500 quid...LOL

now i am hesitant to rent a cool gun I dont own. If it shoots great then I will be tempted to buy it.

I always thought the problem with rental guns is that often there is an inexperienced shooter behind it. Glad that is not always the case.

Yes that is also very true and scary.... I only shoot in the forest back home in Cali, but here in Miami, Im limited to ranges and won't go near one on the weekend.

should have got a .40 that way you can just change slide instead of buying a whole new gun.
