    Glock 35 sight suggestions

So, I'm finally getting around to changing the sights on a G35 . As I'm getting older so has my eyes... I recently replaced the Trijicon bright & toughs with big dots on a G27 and like them pretty well, actually. But, for the 35 I'm looking for something a touch taller and a narrower front sight. It still has the stock sights. My eyes aren't completely failing, but I'm looking for other than 3 dot. The i-dots and caps look cool I guess? But don't necessarily need to be night sights I have a light and front sights seem to wide for the G35 IMO. I found Wilson Combat/Vickers that looked maybe okay? Any suggestion?
    I appreciate it. I'm stuck...
    Thank you.

You against a red dot? Most folks just use a 17 length slide when they switch, since 34/35 optic cut slides were scarce for a bit.

Not really. It's just that. The slide... Well and the cost and shipping mine off to be cut. I've just looked for cut 35 oem slides. I see aftermarkets, but some are more than the gun, and the one reason I bought a couple was the reliability.
        So leary of going aftermarket.
My SNL is a LEO and got me on them. They recently just went to holosuns. But he has them on all his except his G26. He said that it has helped the older guys-eyes out a lot. I was checking his out and I could get used to it, I suppose.
I'm just not a Glock guru. So I'm ignorant of which slides can crossover? Although, I recently came across this crossover list from Glockmeister
        G35.....................G17*,17L*, 22,24,31,34*,35
But haven't checked in to it yet?

Just started, actually. My SNL asked me that me that too, lol. Since I said I don't really need night sights when I have a light and it's not my ccw gun. I just was thinking that they were kinda fragile and large/overbearing. But I have looked at some and watched some youtubes about them.
The wilson battle sight have a fiber front sight option and are the .245” x .125" which I am seeking. This is why I asked you guys for input? I figured I would get some appreciated help. So, Thanks I will check them out too.

Right on. The Taran Tactical (tti) ones measure :

            The front sight is .210" tall and .115" wide for perfect point-of-impact with the GLOCK 17, 17L, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 34, and 35.

And just something to consider about slide milling. I recently sent in my g19 slide to get an optic cut. Turnaround time with the back nitride finish was 3 weeks. This was with wager machine works. If you choose a cerakite color then that will drastically reduce the wait time.

they still seem scarce. I see lots of aftermarket slides for lots of Gs but can you link me to a G35 gen 3 Optic cut slide for sale?

I’ve owned two 35’s for along time, lots of rounds through both. Both have fiber optic, the OD Gen three has Dawson Precision and the FDE Gen 4 has Wilson Combat. The Dawson’s are better for target shooting the Wilson’s run and gun more dynamic type shooting, both are tough and work well. Now a days there are so many good options, really depends on your intended use of the gun. Probably my favorite all around iron sites are still Trijicon HD’s just great all around sights.

Ameriglo makes a great sight combination that I have on my G34 and MrsVMCJ-3's G19. Solid black serrated rear sight, with a fiber optic front sight. It works pretty good for my old eyes. I prefer these sights to a set of Dawson's that I have on another gun. The larger diameter of the front sight, makes it very quick to acquire. Check out #GF-165-130G and #GL-8405L.
                    Then said He unto them...
"and he that hath no 1911 designed by my servant John Moses Browning,
let him sell his garment and buy one."
And they said, "Lord, behold, here are two Glocks."
And He said unto them, "Meh, it's a good start."

                    Luke 22:36-38 (somewhat paraphrased)

I’m running Dawson’s on just about all of my guns, green fiber optic front, black rear…The green pops a bit more than red for me, they include both red and green elements so you can change it yourself.

One consideration, that most likely does not apply but should be mentioned, whether or not you ever plan to run night vision? If running night vision, you should NOT run night sights. They BLOOM in your NODs and are utterly useless and very distracting. Possibly even bad for the NODs. Not sure if they will cause blemishes in the tubes or not. Some say yes some say no. If running NODs, I recommend fiberoptic sights instead.

On my Gucci Glocks I am running both fiberoptic sights and a red dot. The Zev .215 sights co-witness with my red dot sight in the lower 1/3 on Zev slides and traditional RMR cut slides. I have not tried this on the factor MOS cut slides. The Ameriglo fiber optic sights for Glocks that I tried turned out to be too low to do that. There was no height listed when I bought them so I cannot tell you their height. My point being, don't assume with will work with your red dot without checking their height first. Zev and Ameriglo Suppressor Height Sights will absolute co-witness with my red dots. The red dots I have confirmed all three sights with are Trijicon RMR, Holosun 407/507, and Viridian RFX35. The later being my go to sight for the past 3+ years.

If this is a non-issue for you, no worries. Someone reading this in the future may find it helpful.

I put Green Front, with twin Yellow rear Night Sites on my guns. Most shootings happen at night. Having diff colors really helps and I don't understand why its not industry standard. Green is brightest and Yellow 2nd brightest, so that is why I went that way.

If sights don't come with big white ring around lamps maybe add DIY glow in dark paint.

I ended up getting XS SIGHTS 3-Dot Tritium Night Sights. Front is a little thicker than I like, but my older eyes pick them up quick.
But now I need optic height sights and my slide milled.
Because last Sunday I bought a
(Holosun HE507C-GR-X2 Pistol Green Dot Sight - ACSS® Vulcan™ Reticle) Primary had a sale with discount shipped was $357.07 plus earned $72 bonus bucks.
