gun recommendation

I would like to start doing pistol competitions.. Give me your suggestions on which brand I should get. For caliber I'm thinking I'd get a 9mm.

I'm 21, I have a couple rifles and ZERO handguns.

my price range is probably 450-650

Yep, go to your local events, and I bet you will find someone trying to sell a gun and rig combo either getting out of the sport or moving up to better equipment. Either way, you save a few bucks for your first purchase
