Keltec SU16 CA - keep it or sell it?

Bought it because it stows away neatly and is lightweight but it's not a caliber I use and I'd like to sell it for something else but with the way the country is I'm 2nd guessing myself.

I have a couple other survival type rifles so its not like I'd be without a gun.

So I pose the question to calguns, would you sell it or keep it?

    Thanks,
    16

Comes down to your needs and you are the one that determines those.

Used to have one. If you like a lightweight easily packable 556 keep it. If you want a more accurate and reliable gun, sell it.

I think you already answered your question.

Even if you are entertaining selling it, I would at least wait until after the first week of November to see where the election falls. Myself and everyone I know, including several former and current Democrats are voting Trump. But should Harrisment win, that could change perspective of the gun buying public. You may see a run on modern semi-auto rifles, garnering you a much better price come December-February than what the current post-summer/dip in economy and traditionally worst month for the stock market dip would have influence on the price you would get now.

All that said, I'd keep it regardless; it's a nifty, reliable, compactable package that makes for a great back-up gun, where you likely didn't spend too much on, that is not too common a find over-the-counter in CA anymore.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

I am also thinking of selling mine. You could sell yours and start an AR build or have money towards something or even a trade. I may be trading mine for a tactical shotgun I can us as a "student gun" for my training courses. I'll all about upgrading to the next level but that is me.

I'll do that. If our society degrades beyond what it is now I might want to keep it.
