There's a "permanent" injunction? Or something like that, for now at least. Before they tried to outlaw them, AFT had a rule about maximum length of pull. They arrested at least one guy and were going to put him on trial for exceeding the max LOP, because AFT measured it wrong.
For things like that, they always extend it as far as possible, and then measure it (this does not relate to my statement above regarding method of measurement, btw), so a "careful" guy would not use an extendable brace. What's weird is, recently, nobody seems to be shying away from extending braces. I've seen them online, and I've even seen them in gunshops, on factory AR pistols, where a brace extends well beyond the old max LOP. So, what happened? Is the max LOP rule void now?
