Burro Canyon & Azusa Ave / CA39

Is CA39 closed going up to Burro Canyon? Google maps showing 39 closed in both directions at San Gabriel Dam as well as East Fork Rd. Checked burros website but no mention and haven't tried calling yet. Anyone have info? Thxs

I thought I saw a news article saying it was currently closed due to a forest fire.
Not sure of this.

Thanks. I knew portions of the 39 have been closed up there but that was well north of the East Fork intersection. Google maps shows closure waaaay down at the bottom south of the dam and a note that says closed until Aug 20. Not that google cant ever be wrong :-)

thanks trujilr2. I feel like an idiot. I didnt think about checking facebook and until just now, didnt realize there was a fire up there.
