Not in stock anywhere I looked. It looks like it was a benefit sales with some proceeds going to COPS or something similar. Target sports USA, shows a price of $299.80 for a case, but that's probably way low in todays market considering a 1000 round case of Federal American Eagle is $459.80.

I think if you're trying to sell it $400+ wouldn't be unheard of or hard to get.

So can i still buy ammo from any dealer online or do i have to have them ship it to an FFL? Do all online retailers ship to CA?

You can still buy online, you just have to have it sent to a dealer for the check. I would check your local dealers to see what they charge on top of the $1 to the state. Not everyone is shipping to California, many are but there are a few who don't.

Under CA laws...

All sales to a non-exempt person must be done through a CA DOJ licensed ammunition vendor or CA FFL dealer. [PC 30312]

Unless you are licensed by CA DOJ as an ammunition vendor or are a CA FFL dealer, it is illegal to sell more than 500 rounds of ammunition within a 30 day period. [PC 30342(a)]
^The only exemption to this is when the person sells the ammunition to a CA FFL dealer or CA DOJ licensed ammunition vendor due to a Court order requiring them to dispose of all the firearms and ammunition in their possession. [PC 30342(b)]

Selling ammunition without utilizing a CA DOJ licensed ammunition vendor/CA FFL dealer or selling more than 500 rounds within a 30 day period, makes the transferor and illegal ammunition vendor.
