"(folding)Stock has no function and is permanently fixed in position"

I have one (with BB added by 07 FFL). Its possible to make the stock fold with replacement (original) folding stock innards, but you can't just "unscrew it. The pistol is imported as shown with non-folding stock. If the ATF says the permanence of the non-folding stock is good enough for import as a pistol, I'm OK with that.
BB thread with photos of the gun as well: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=446902
There are plenty of people in free states SBRing these and making the stocks foldable.

This gun has to have a BB on it when it hits CA. There is no way to ship it in pieces because the receiver is riveted to the lower/trigger group. The only easily removable parts are the mag, bolt and main spring - it makes an AK look complicated. :-) There is no one making a BB commercially, so its a bit of a moot point until one actually has a BB in hand.
Tracy Rifle and Pistol will make BBs for PPs43 pistols that they sell, but will not sell them separately. The BB is relatively easy to make (two pieces of bent 16 gauge steel), but needs someone that has a parts kit, a metal cutting bandsaw and can make a simple bending jig.
