Reno should be a nice trip nobody buys 10 rounders there . Should be stocked plenty for all your autos, no spaces missing in the inventory shelves ??

If you are coming in from CA off I-80 there is a Cabela's minutes after crossing the state line. There are a few Sportsman's Warehouse stores in Reno. And if you drive just past Reno into Sparks, you'll run into a Scheels. If you've never been inside one of these, you owe it to yourself to check it out. Yes there are other sporting goods that take up a big part of the store. But seeing a giant ferris wheel inside a store is pretty cool. And being able to take a shotgun off the rack and check it out without asking a salesperson for help is pretty cool.

Scheels in Sparks is a definite must. They don't have a lot of "CA mag" - but when they do, there's plenty in stock (no one in NV uses them).

Cabelas in Verdi is meh - nice stuff to look at, but their mag selection was not the greatest (esp. if you're looking for CA compliant). Scheels usually beat them on price (Scheels also price matches if you find a lower price).

Cabalas has a used handgun, rifle, shotgun section seperate from new guns. Lots of eye candy.

You forgot to mention the hanging SeaPlane in the fishing department, on second floor just past the ammo/reloading stuff.
Also the live fish displays at both side of the ferris wheel at the entrance.

Why do people ask a question then edit it out when they get an answer?

Do they think it needs to be classified information, kind of a "FOR YOUR EYES ONLY" deal?

Yep, some do that. Have no consideration that others may have a similar question down the line.

Not everyone lives in an area which has shops that are replete in their offerings. Likewise, mail order isn't always an option for some, for a variety of legitimate reasons.

The 'sad' part is that he can't, legally, bring the 'good stuff' back with him.

Ah, makes sense. I figured CA compliant stuff can be mail ordered if necessary.
