Use a small screw driver to fit the slots of the locking nut?

What tool would you be referring to? All that's needed is usually a small slotted screwdriver.

I've gotten away with a heavy duty staple before. Un-bent of course.

I think he means the Wonder Wrench. But yea a small screwdriver works fine.

Instead of thanking antis for mag locks, you should be thanking some of the OGs here for the whole OLL movement and developing mag locks. The antis never wanted you to have either one.

How can I get this thing off?!

                Hello calgunners,

I have broken several wonder wrenches, and several other tools that were suppossed to easily remove my bullet button. I had my bullet button installed at my local gun shop. When I push the mag release in all the way, the catch does not project enough for me to spin the lever loose like it is supposed to. I'm not sure if there is lock tite on it, but the teeth in the wrenches keep breaking. Is there a solvent that will break the seal or does it sound like I am doing something wrong? Please help as I am taking my AR15 out of state and want to use my baby the way it was designed. Thank you all in advance.

Have you used heat? Try a hair dryer on the bullet button for 5 minutes and then use the wonder wrench.
