    issue with rook tactical: FIXED

    I bought a product tuesday night for $580. It said it was in stock. I sent my order. That night i get an e mail saying its out of stock. BUT, they took my money. Another e mail followed saying my payment has been voided and will be returned the next day....

    well... i still dont have my money back, and they NEVER answer their phone so.....getting really worried

      Sometimes the credit card processing companies can take forever. Not a simple matter of the company punching some numbers in and it arrives in your account.

      All merchants who take CC's use a processing center. Sometimes these transactions take time.

      I once had a credit take almost two weeks. Be patient.

        If you paid by credit card you can do a chargeback on it. Call you CC company.

          double check with your credit card company. sometimes they will hold the refund for a week.

            Like others said the CC processors take a few days to process a refund. I wouldn't worry too much. He's probably at a gun show this weekend so he might be hard to get in touch with on the phone until Monday. We always see him at the shows.

                Sean is a stand up guy. I've bought stuff from him on occasion. I'm sure he wasn't trying to be misleading by stating an item is in stock when it wasn't. I'm guessing that it can be difficult to keep a website updated, especially when he has another full-time business.

                IIRC cc companies will automatically collect payment as soon as you submit your order but are slow to issue refunds. It usually takes a week or so to be issued. Just be patient.

                  yeah he called me today. He was just really busy. Things are good. Credit card payment has come back. no worries

                        I agree editing the title of your post would be appropriate and the ethical thing to do since the vendor did take care of you within a short period of time.
