    $15 off $150 order at Midway.com

I got this and figured i'd pass this along to all my friends at calguns.net

"Stock up now on all your shooting, reloading and gunsmithing needs and get $15 off one order totaling $150 or more. Order must be IN-STOCK and placed before February 27.

To receive your $15 off, enter the promotion code WEB150 in the box entitled "Promotion Code" on the shopping cart page. You will see the discount on the confirmation page before placing your order. Remember, this promotion code is valid for orders placed on MidwayUSA.com. The offer starts today and ends February 27, 2006 and is good on one order of at least $150."

Get your C&R and you'll get discounted dealer prices from Midway all the time.

You get dealer pricing. The amount of discount depends on the product.

You don't get too much of a discount on bullets, but you definitely see discounts on reloading equipment as well as optics.

I do most of my shopping with Midway, Graf and Sons, and Brownells, all three of which offer dealer discounts for C&R holder. Midway and Graf's tend to have the same prices.

The discount definitely offsets the $30 for 3 years fee for the C&R and the discounts are a lot better than $15 off $150.

Just as an example, the Leupold Mark 4 3-9x36 MR/T M3 Illuminated Mildot I just bought runs for $1,039.99 at Midway (retail) and Riflescopes.com, but the Midway dealer price is $832.60.

The only drawback with dealer accounts with Midway and Graf's is that you have a minimum order. It's $40 for Midway. I can't remember for Graf's.

How does one get a C&R license? What record keeping is required?
