Why would they go into overdrive on production? Over production will just drive prices down. They have to love whats happening.

Guns will sell until no one has the money for them no matter who is elected. Then when the economy crashes, which it appears it will, the guns will be our best friends.

Weapons can be expensive but if you search online and on the forums, you can get some decent stuff or building your own stuff. I love supporting my local gun stores so I try to find the one that has the closet prices to online prices. I mean you can get a PSA ar15 lower for about $100 when all is said and done online but if you go to the store the cheapest lower that they have is starting at $125. As long as the gun store isn't trying to rape me, I don't mind spending around $20-$40 (depending) more for something I could have gotten online cheaper.

I was born in NY. My mom was born at Ellis Island when my Grandparents came over from Italy. My dad was born in Greece and his family fled Italy just before WWII broke out. At 17, my Father and two of his brothers (my Uncles), immediately joined the Army to knowing the Nazis had to be stopped. I lost an Uncle who died defending America when he had only been in this country a few years. I was raised by IMMIGRANTS who taught me to love this country and the Constitution.

i think the word "illegal" immigration would have been the more appropriate point to this post. We all know that America was BUILT on people of all races, creeds and colors coming to this country.

I've always said, and still feel to believe, that our countries biggest problem with "illegal" immigration started over 30 years ago. Thus allowing it to continue, we seen these illegal aliens spawn new generations of "legal" aliens, having been birthed here in the US. Now that generation is creating even new generations of people, all spawned off of the backs of people who did enter this country illegally. As a result, we have "millions" of LEGAL citizens here now in America, mainly because they have grand parents or great grand parents who came here illegally.

I have no issue with anyone who entered this country legally, and went through the legal proceedings to obtain their citizenship. And I blame our own government for the lax handling of the "illegal" immigration problems of 30 years ago. Even the offering of amnesty for these illegal entrants only showed defeat by our own government and a betrayal of our best interest. We are now paying the price for this betrayal and I see no immediate remedy for this overburdened country.

Joe Brinkman, a friend of mine of 30 years, a former Major League Umpire, always tells me "how do you unf*** up a f*** up? I still don't have an answer for him.

I will counter this with logic. Is the problem illegal crossing of the border or the fact the government or employers then give that person services and rights not otherwise granted to that person?

I look at it this way. I have kids who want food. They are hungry. I need the house cleaned and other work done. My kids want to do the work, but want a sandwich and chips first. My neighbors kids are even more hungry than mine. I set a plate of potato chips out and yell over the fence... "if the yard is mowed and the chips are gone...its ok by me." Now can my kids really blame the neighbor's kids as the source of why both are still hungry?

No. Illegal immigration isn't our problem. The sooner people direct their anger and frustration toward the real problem the quicker the problem will get resolved. We all benefit from illegal immigration more then we are burdened by it.

Cheap slave labor built this country. We are who we are because of it. It (immigration) is used as a wedge to keep us from directing our anger where it belongs.
