                  Looks like the old build party axiom is used at the factory as well...
                  A barrel is connected with a rod. There are special tools to do this, but some specialists use only a hammer.

                    K-Var used to sell a Bulgarian Arsenal factory sales video showing their AK assembly line. It was cool to see the female employees assembling the guns, checking the sights & test firing them at the factory. The hammer forge barrel machine was awesome. The vid also shows the field/torture testing them in the 2nd half. I lost my copy years ago. If anyone here has that tape, I'll buy it or a copy. I've looked online for it without any luck. The start of the vid has classical music playing, while showing the muzzle of an AK being fired.
