    Shooting with EBR and Featureless?

Sorry, tried to search but search seems broken for strings over one word...

I have an 80% AR15 lower and I am trying to decide what to build. Thinking featureless or varmint.

Would I run into legal issues if I am out shooting my EBR (M4) and a featureless AR15 that I have 30 round magazines (previously owned) for?

I wouldn't be using the 30s in the EBR but they would obviously be accessible as I could use them in the featureless.

    TIA

I'm sure more will chime in, but from my understanding:
    1. I've heard/read so much about magazines >10 rounds that it's just not worth it to me personally. Owning/possessing/using...a constant "debate" on what is or isn't legal. Why put yourself out there? Just have plenty of 10 rounders. Problem solved. I'm sure others will see it differently, but that's why we all have opinions.
    2. If you put the M4 in the EBR as long as you have a BB installed I'd imagine you're good to go. If I'm off base, again, someone will more than likely clarify this.

You would be clear legally, but that isn't to say you wouldn't be hassles by somebody that isn't clear on the law.
It was never an issue for me.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

This is not a grey area at all. Your legally owned full-cap magazines are not a LEGAL problem so long as they stay out of the mag well of your EBR.
You could have your EBR laying on a bed of 30-rounders. LEGAL.
However, are you open to possible harassment from poorly trained/informed LEOs? Yes. As is ANYONE who owns any kind of gun in this state, especially if they own an OLL in any configuration.
Personally, I to not take full-cap magazines with me if I'm shooting a BB-equipped rifle, even if I have a featureless with me. But that's how I roll. (That's right, overly cautious, i.e. scared of running into an idiot with a badge.)
