I have seen the Hi-point guns and carbines, they are by no means good to look at but from what i have read they are decent in quality. they sell 9mm hand gun for like $160 so i was thinking why not ask them to make a .22LR. you can buy a box of 550 rds for under $20 you can shoot all day. the only other lower end brand is phoenix guns in ontartio ca, but they flat out suck, jam to easy. just an idea/suggestion if they made a .22LR hand gun and sold it for like $100 i would totally buy one. no how do i contact Hi-point about this? ill have to google there contact info...

Hi-Point contact information is kept on the Hi Point Talk Forum here:
If you read fora where Hi Point employees are members you'll find different chamberings have been discussed many times. HP seems to think there's plenty of offerings for .22 rifles and handguns in the low-price category and they couldn't compete effectively there.
I think they're probably right.People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

I'm curious what you did not like about yours. I have never had any issues with mine and if I do ever have an issue it is covered with a lifetime no questions asked warranty. Now I will admit they are pretty darn ugly, but then a Glock is not a work of art either, and yes I do also own a Glock and am not knocking them just saying they don't look much better than the Hi-point in my opinion..._...|..\__________________,_

22LR is well known to jam, even in expensive brands i.e. Sig Mosquito.
It might be tricky to make reliable 22LR in low price point.'Cuz big holes are easier to see.
You can correct my spelling and grammar error anytime.
I welcome it. How else would I learn.Comment
