Maybe we shouldn't carry a loaded gun when we plan to be shooting people during initiation.

Better idea: don't use guns at all in such a stupid manner as part of an initiation ceremony. No good can come of the irresponsible handling of firearms.

If another member is knocking cans off with sticks and the person being initiated isn't supposed to notice, I have to assume he is blindfolded. If the guy is blindfolded, the gun doesn't even need to be pointed in his direction. Did I miss something as to why the gun HAS to be pointed at someone?
Edit: "holding a stick out of sight". My bad. In this case, I would say why not have him blindfolded because it's not like you're actually going to shoot someone being initiated

Please note this is 8 years old. I remember some discussion about it a while back.
