"featureless" legality question

this one might be a little bit of a curve ball (or not, who knows) but we all know that a "flash hider" is an "evil feature", but what about a "flash enhancer" like one of these: http://www.keepshooting.com/ar15-m16...-enhancer.html

could i put this on a featureless and be legal

As per my understanding, you cant have any muzzle device on a featureless build

uring a semiautomatic rifle to have no prohibited features allows a marksman to use fully detachable magazines of any capacity. If a semiautomatic centerfire rifle does not have any of the prohibited features it can accept normal detachable magazines. An important note of caution is that it is easy to overlook a flash hider when assembling a featureless rifle. Make sure that you either have no muzzle device or a muzzle brake on a featureless rifle. It is also common to see featureless rifles with what appear to be adjustable or telescoping stocks. These must be pinned or otherwise fixed in place so that they cannot adjust.

Make sure that you either have no muzzle device or a muzzle brake on a featureless rifle.

You can have a brake or compensator on a featureless.

The enhancer seems to be a brake but I would like to see the front of it to see if its open ended and if it has an expansion chamber

Cant see how CADOJ could say it "reduce or redirect muzzle flash from the shooter’s field of vision" When it produces blasts like that on top

the porting on the DeGroat is facing forward, whereas the one i was looking at faces backwards (more like a break) is it safe for me to assume that it doesnt make a difference in the eyes of the law???

degroat was fairly pricey if i remember correctly, thats why i was going for the knock off

Didn't even look at the prices just assumed the one you linked to was made by degroat. No way at that price difference. I'd say go with the knock off haha
