Please recommend some "2A" type books

I'm starting a book list for myself. Any quality recommendations!

Fast and Furious by Katie Pavlick

Negroes with Guns by Robert F. Williams

Restoring the Lost Constitution: The Presumption of Liberty by Pro. Randy Barnett

A balanced look at Waco Massacre

    Malcome X

I'm not much of a reader so please help me make good choices.

Awfully big topic - care to narrow it down?

History? Current legal efforts? Legal theory? Pro-/anti-gun arguments?

You can get really good treatments of all of those from the amicus briefings for Heller and McDonald - http://dcguncase.com/blog/ http://www.chicagoguncase.com/ - but they're kind of written for people with some background already.

Also look for books by Gary Kleck.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

llamatrne, yes, you're in the ballpark with the Waco Siege. Thanks for the above suggestions. Wonder if my library will have these?

Molon Lebe, Boston T Party (Free State Project, Heavy 2a)
One Second After, William Fortchen (Armed citizenry)
Patriots, James Rawles (Armed Citizenry, Militia)
Unintended Consequences, John Ross (best IMO, Very Heavy 2a)
You and the Police, Boston T Party (Get a copy for all your friends and family)
The Tyranny of Good Intentions, Paul Craig Roberts(Corrupted Court System)
Three Felonies a Day, Harvey Silvergate (Corrupted Court System)
Bostons Gun Bible, Boston T Party (All the way to the right, almost over the edge!)
Ambush at Ruby Ridge, Alan Bock (Is this America?)

All are extremely good reads but beware as some of the novel concepts will change your prospective and you could become an activist.

"The Bill of Rights: Creation and Reconstruction" By Akhil Reed Amar. It covers the entire Bill of Rights, but contains the single clearest and most thorough analysis of the 2nd Amendment, and equally important, the 14th Amendment, that I have ever read:

Anything by Louis L'Amour. Shows that the good guy does not look for trouble, but is prepared for it always.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......Cicero

The Founder's Second Amendment by Stephen Halbrook provides some great background on the history and foundation for the 2A. It can be a little dry in places, but it's worth the effort IMO.
