Oh man, if that happened, I'd have to scrounge up the range fee I don't have so I can go. I'd be there.

Archery is a lot of fun, I remember learning how to shoot properly in the Boy Scouts and trap would be fun too if I had a shotgun!

Sometime while I am over there I will have to walk on over and see what the other side is like.
The range you see when you exit the highway, is the Hogue Action Range. Strictly for local, state, and national competitions and our monthly club shoots (action pistol/IDPA/ICORE/USPSA).

Going down the lane will get you to the "longhouse" public range, all manner of arms are welcome, from BB guns to .50BMG. We also have a single trap thrower there, for shotgunners that don't want to shoot at the formal range....

...which is at the end of the lane. Two full trap lanes, plus a high/low skeet house. We also just installed and opened a clays-like lane shoot, which is getting rave reviews.

Adjacent to the shotgun range are the 3 archery lanes, with 15 to 40 yard target backs, and includes a few 3-D critters. Archery is only available when the shotgun range is open, for safety reasons. The Shotgun RSO also monitors the archery lanes (shotgun is open Tuesday to Sunday, times vary).

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......Cicero

I would love to do a calguns range day at SLOSA! The only free saturday for me this month is the 27th, otherwise I've got some free ones next month.

Maybe we can start another thread to see what dates work for other calgunners?

Sounds like some fun! Never been there on a Thursday night, how is it shooting under the lights?

Went there this weekend and had a blast shooting the metal gongs with the AR and my friends new wasr-10!
