I just bought a glock new from a gun store, do i have to wait 30 days to buy another handgun used from someone off the forum an how much does it cost to go throw a FFL?

PPTs are exempt from the 1 in 30 days. But, if you have a private party's gun shipped to your FFL, that transaction DOES fall under the 1 in 30. You can PPT (face to face) as often as you can afford to. PPT DROS fees are $35 handgun.

A clarification: the distinction is not new/used.

A person might buy a handgun from a dealer and never use it - it remains NIB, New In Box - and then sell it PPT.

If it's you and the dealer, 1 in 30.

If it's you and a non-dealer, and you go to a dealer because CA requires it, it's a PPT and (except in the City of Los Angeles) 1 in 30 does NOT apply.
