    So, now that I moved

    Recently moved to Cupertino.

Before I return to NV and pick up my guns. What laws do I need to be aware of regarding registration / having them here with me

    Pistols, Rifle / Shotgun, 2 are AR's

I already have Bullet Buttons installed and 20 round mags pinned to 10 for the two AR's ( I don't think the Stag or S&W are on the no-no list )

    Here you go:

May the Bridges I burn light the way.

Life Is Not About Waiting For The Storm To Pass - Its About Learning To Dance In The Rain.

Fewer people are killed with all rifles each year (323 in 2011) than with shotguns (356), hammers and clubs (496), and hands and feet (728).

Since your new to CA all mags must be 10-rounds or less. That or they need to disassembled before you cross the boarder.

Your "suppose to" register your hand-guns within 60-days. A lot of people don't... Starting next year, all new long-guns brought into the state "should" also be registered.

Check your ARs to make sure their lowers aren't on the ban list. CA is kind of picky.

Make sure your long-guns are the required length. In CA they're special and want a little longer than Federal.

If you can post specific models or pictures we'll probably come up with more stuff to think about. A lot of the laws only apply in certain circumstances. Like a bullet-button isn't need if you don't have any evil features. Or the short-barreled shotgun law doesn't apply to the Judge if it has a rifled barrel for example.

I'm sure there's more. I had to give up my SKS when I moved here because it had a grenade launcher feature even though you can't get the grenades for it... Oh well.
