I do the same here in cali. Although it does require knowning people at the range, and no one being there as well so they don't copy rapid fire.

Not impressed

Buy a Geissele SD-3G trigger, install it on an M4 and you can shoot a hell of a lot faster than that. And be perfectly legal if anyone wants to "check" your rifle.
I love mine.
