1. The guns can damage cells. Mybe they should call it the lobotomy gun.

EDIT: I posted before reading the link. Holy crap that's scary. A lot worse than I thought by the name. I wonder if the TV is actually involved. Makes the recent digital only change and nationwide EAS broadcasting capability kinda scary.

Eh, its a microwave gun.

What they didn't tell you is that it takes about 4-5 hours to spin up the power box for it (a box-truck) and that they can only run it for an hour or so without refueling the generators.

The power densities of RF put out by that thing is about 1,000,000 to 100,000,000 times greater then the total that can be put out by a broadcast tower (unless you are about 6 inches from the antenna).

I'll believe that when there is something more substantive then a propaganda piece documenting it.
