laws regarding 80% receivers

Do you need to register a receiver that you built from an 80% ? I have not seen a post with this info so thought i would ask.

Yes, and its one of the only ways to build one yourself. You still have to go with a bullet button mag lock, and all other legal BS, etc.

I HAVE ALREADY BUILT A COUPLE AND AM ADDICTED. THIS FORUM HAS GIVEN ME MANY MORE IDEAS. I HAVE NO NEED FOR AN AK BUT WOULD LIKE TO BUILD ONE FROM AN 80% JUST TO SAY I'VE DONE IT AND WOULD LOVE TO BUILD A 10/22 FROM AN 80%. THIS FORUM HAS CREATED A MONSTER !

ReKrab thank you. My next project is to find out where the classes are going to be to build the ar lowers, ak, 10/22. Do you know where i should start looking in the forum for this info? I have found some info by searching 80% but havent found a specific area for this info. Thank you for your assistance.
