    Target shoot near Joshua Tree?

Going out to Joshua tree for a little camping trip. Any good spots near by to set up a few targets and steels to throw some metal at?

The best info you can get are the San Bernardino county shooting maps. Available online at http://www.specialdistricts.org/2/fishandgame/
or you can buy paper maps for $3 at a few locations.

Shelton road south of the 62 looks pretty good.

Lots of Calgunners with cabins out that way. I have one in Yucca Valley and Booshanky has one in 29 Palms.
