As I understand it, the Cx4 would require a bullet button to use in CA.

I recently saw an AR with the Monsterman Grip. Could something like that be built to block the thumb-hole stock on the Cx4 eliminating the need for a BB, or would that not count / make the gun hard to use?

Interested in getting one to accompany my Px4 in .40 S&W.

Yeah, you'd just need to fill in the thumbhole. Look up what some people have done for PSLs and other similar stocks with a large thumbhole.

Of course the problem is that you'd need to get an FFL to order and then install it, since as I recall there isn't any way to get it in a featureless config. Or you could get it with a mag lock, fill in the hole then take the mag lock off I guess.

I have some pics posted on here of how I filled mine. It was before there were BB available and it was my solution.

I honestly wouldn't go through the work of filling it in since a BB is available now.

I will be selling my inserts when we move in the next month or so.
