    WOW the prices the prices

I was going to look at a boat with a buddy and on the way back we stopped at the Bass pro shop in ontario. Holy crap. I went to the gun room and the prices were INSANE. they had a winchester model 1886? for 72 000$ thats seventy two THOUSAND. they also had a double barrel shotgun for some ridiculous 225 000 or some ridiculous price. The rest of the place was cool. I even got some hunting boots for 25% off.

Did you make them a deal and buy both for 10% off for cash?
Hard to believe the prices they ask.

It depends on the individual gun.

The 1886 could be in NIB condition and serial number 1 or something like that.

Don't even think about some of the old double rifles and shotguns.

My son went in there (he works at Paul's TV, so it is close) when it was fairly new and they had a shotgun that came with four barrels for the same price ($250K) and it had a sold sign on it.

That "fine gun room" is crazy! Hard to belive the prices on some of those things. Itd be nice to own a few arms worth that much, but then again it be nice to own that much worth of other arms instead!

That gun room is pretty sweet, but I don't understand paying that much for a gun, from the stand point of it being a really expensive gun. On the other hand if you're looking at it as a luxury good that you're investing in, it makes a little more sense, but dang that's a lot of money.

I wonder if they have a gun room dedicated to the 1980's with all those Tennessee or Georgia gun manufactures or to the ring of fire CA gun manufactures that turned zinc cast cap guns into a truly Americana phenomenon of affordable gun ownership.

Those two had as much affect on both the gun culture and anti-gun kooks as those Winchesters.

Plus you might even be able to afford purchasing one of those legends.

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Personally I rather purchase a couple of houses and rent them out. But I guess if you got the cash laying around and can afford it then by all means. I
told my buddy for the price of that gun it better come with a lifetime supply of ducks or deer. I guess if someone can buy a 300 000$ Rolls then why not a 250 000 $ shotgun. Most likely its bought by a collecor so it wont see the light of day or someone who wants to say they paid 250 000$ for a gun
