trying to order some .3006 ammo from cmp put it in my cart and go to check out and it wont let me buy it said that restricted citizen . tryed to call them was on hold for ever never talked to them . is it that i just signed up ?? help thanks Ray

Did you comply with the conditions to purchase from the CMP: i.e.: proof of club affiliation, etc.?

If CMP doesn't already have you in their system from a prior purchase, etc. (meaning having already met all the requirements), then you won't be able to purchase online anything from them. After you are in the system, you should be able to. Not sure which of these two categories you fit. Just information for you.Comment

All they have for sale is the 200 round loose. Once that runs out they have a small amount of the clipped in the spam cans. The clipped in the 30 cal cans are long gone.
OP: They're system is mostly set up such that people buy a rifle and then when they set up your online account they mark it with whatever paperwork you sent for the rifle. If you're just setting it up yourself you'll want to email them with your customer # and scans of your passport and membership in an affiliated club. That'll let you buy anything you can buy through the e-Store (not rifles).Comment
