        Never mind, I found it-

The 92 FS differs only one way. Above the left grip plate, and between the grip plate and the frame you will see a large circular pin. That is the hammer pin.The diameter was increased and a corresponding groove cut into the left rear portion of the slide. That was intended to " capture " the slide in case the rear of the slide should separate. The 92 F doesn't have it. I have shot about 30,000 rounds a year through my Beretta's the last 6 years. It is a very reliable weapon. I have had the rear of the slide crack on one of them. I knew something was wrong when I kept missing or hitting very high on a steel target at 5 yards. I sent the slide to Beretta and they replaced it free. This was one of the 92F series. I hope this helps.

          92F (92SB-F)
          Main article: M9 pistol

Beretta modified the model 92SB slightly to create the 92SB-F (the "F" added to denote entry of the model in U.S. Government federal testing) and, later, the 92G for French Government testing, by making the following changes:

Design of all the parts to make them 100% interchangeable to simplify maintenance for large government organizations.
Modified the front of the trigger guard so that one could use finger support for easier aiming.
Recurved the forward base of the grip to aid aiming.
Hard chromed the barrel bore to protect it from corrosion and to reduce wear.
New surface coating on the slide called Bruniton, which allegedly provides better corrosion resistance than the previous plain blued finish.

          [edit] 92FS

The FS has an enlarged hammer pin that fits into a groove on the underside of the slide. The main purpose is to stop the slide from flying off the frame to the rear if it cracks. This was in response to reported defective slides during U.S. Military testing.
          Wikipedia is hard.

Since that has been answered, I was wondering what the going rate would be for Me-Gar 15 round rebuild kits. Either used in good condition with finish wear on bodies, to like new and showing no finish wear.
              Thanks in advance!
