    Uhh... no.

Unless you have them weld that thing on, no. Threaded pistol barrel = AW feature = need to get a magazine lock. Read the flow-chart.

Just FYI, threaded barrels in pistols is illegal in California. Only option would be to have the compenstor permanently attached, which means you can't remove it from the slide.

If you did make it permanent it would be a pain to clean and work on later

How about a 9mm conversion barrel?

Have you considered converting it to a 9mm? Or possible low power 40 loads?

I have over 1k factory ammo, conversion RIGHT NOW is not really an interest as I LOVED the way it handled for ME, trying to keep it in .40.

                      I know there is a conversion to 9mm http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.a...&TERM=4%20port
I just dont know what if anything else needs changing, do I need 9 mm mags?

                      EDIT
Use G17 9mm mag for G22, G24, G31 and G35 conversion. Cheap discount ammunition will not run this barrel reliably.

Yep you'll need 9mm mags for it, some people say the recoil spring too but I have never had an issue and fired over a 1000 9mm now out of the lone wolf conversion on my 35. Shoots really nice and it might be I'm just getting more used to the gun but it seems the 9mm barrel is more accurate. 9mm is more manageable, much cheaper than 40, and it's nice to have 2 calibers out of one gun that you can change in 10 seconds. Also, about it saying cheap discount ammo will not run reliably, I've only shot Winchester white box and mostly Walmart Federal through the conversion, but in over a thousand shots not one single problem yet.
