There's some lettering on the bottom rail just above the AFG screw. Looks like something ...USA or Gat...

I have used this rail on my budget build AR for a couple years and it has never some lose, gotten scratched, or cause any problems whatsoever. I was seeing if people could see visually that is was in fact a replica DD 7", that I paid $80 for. Haha sorry if it was misleading in any way. Good job, you caught me.. In no way do I think using replicas is better in any way than using real DD obviously, but it is in fact a great alternative if you are on a budget, and want a rails system. This works just the same as my real DD 7". Thanks guys

That's about the worst picture you could have possibly posted for us to try and "guess" what's wrong with it... Take all the stuff off and take a clear side shot.

Yes, the screw/hole at the back was a sign, along with the lack of white laser etching. That and the fact that the rail doesn't line up with your uppper receiver...

The rail panels are practically permanently attached thanks to my brother, and its aligned properly, its just about 1mm taller.

I can see the lettering now(it's still barely visible) on a brighter monitor at home compared to when I was still at the office. Horrible picture.

Is that one of those Madbull replicas where they say "NOTE: For Airsoft only; The Airsoft version rail is using lower grade Aluminum without forge heating process. It will be very dangerous if you install it on firearms?"

Yes that one. I have tested this rail extensively. It holds up just fine, as it never exposed to severe heat, shock, or stress. This Build Was a Under $1000 deal, and i was not really to stoked about building it in the first place, but my older brother wanted a gun built as he liked. I personally do not believe in using toy accessories on real firearms, but this I guess proved to me there is nothing wrong with it.
