    Share your non-tacticool pictures!

Maybe i'm weird, but for some reason I feel strongly about my firearms being "unassuming". There's a ton of threads with people's tactical arsenals, but not many with people interested in themore "traditional" feel.

I'm wondering if there are others out there that prefer to keep their battery of arms in a more traditional or sporting configuration. I'd love to see what you guys have.

Here's one of my first baby

Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

        Walnut and blued steel...

Yeah, I have always been a "walnut and blued steel" kind of guy...

But, if you really must go "EBR":

Is that wood furniture for the AR custom? Also, what is that chambered in? Doesn't look like a normal 5.56

Winchester 94AE? I have one in 44 magnum and I love it. Only problem is it won't hold 10 rounds unless I use a couple 44 specials.

The sad thing is, most people have no real idea what "tactical" actually means and just prescribe a definition of "looks military'ish and has lots of rails and crap hanging from it".

I would describe both firearms you posted as "tactical". They serve a relatively specific functional simple purpose and are ideal defensive weapons. The wood furniture doesn't make them any less "tactical".

Completely agree with that. I suppose what I mean is that "typical" idea of tactical to the non-gun enthusiast.

I feel the wood/non-pistol grip configurations make the firearms look more like sporting arms than defensive arms, even though they are both perfectly capable defensive arms.

People don't eyeball my weapons much at the range. I see guys with benelli semi-auto pistol grip shotguns and bad @ss ARs and people are always eyeballing them. that makes me a little uneasy.

                          I am "discreet tactical"

This is about as 'Un TactiCool" as it gets. A break open 12 gage cut down to 18.25", and shoots full power slugs to point of aim at 50 yards, 5 mixed buck/slugs on the sleeve, and 5 more in the buttstock. Breaks down for easy transport....

                              Not custom, Brownell's carries them.
                              It's 5.56, 20"
